Russian league exile Aiden McGeady could well make his long-awaited return to the British Isles this summer with a move to the Blue half of Merseyside.
The former Celtic man was sensational during his time in the SPL, rising through the Parkhead youth academy to record 31 goals and 60 appearances in 185 domestic appearances.
The Ireland winger moved to Spartak Moscow in 2010, where he has maintained a consistent level of performance, but employment in Russia has moved him away from the European spotlight.
The Toffees could do with some added options on the flanks, and the 27 year old fits the bill perfectly.
McGeady could be available for around £5million this summer.
