Everton fans have been busy on Twitter expressing their frustration at the news that the club have extended their partnership with kit supplier Umbro.
The iconic sportswear brand share a long history with the Toffees dating back to the 1970s, which will now continue into the 2019/20 season after a renewal was agreed – the existing deal was set to expire this summer.
In this era of ‘big 6’ dominance, has finishing 7th become as good as winning a trophy? The Pl>ymaker FC squad have their say in the video below…
Umbro have produced many classic designs for the Toffees over the last five decades – including one of the first kits to have taping details on the sleeve, which has returned in the current home strip with the running diamonds around the cuffs.
Whilst Umbro have done a decent job with the Merseysiders’ strips this season, many fans are seemingly annoyed at the decision to extend the partnership as some wanted Under Armour or Adidas to take over.
Let’s see what the disgruntled Everton fans have been saying about the renewal on Twitter…
