According to The Times journalist Paul Joyce, Everton attacker Antony Evans is a target for Bundesliga outfit SC Paderborn.

Evans has been with Everton since the age of nine, progressing through the various youth sides to Under-23 level, where he has made 70 appearances.

The former England Under-19 international has never made a first-team appearance for the Toffees, though, and will see his contract expire at the end of the season.

According to Joyce, Paderborn are interested in moving for Evans, presumably before Friday's deadline.

Steffen Baumgart's side were promoted from the second tier last season and have struggled in the Bundesliga during the 2019/20 campaign, sitting 17th with just 15 points to show from their 19 matches.

Did he play for Everton? Simple question but a lot tougher than you think...

It remains to be seen whether Evans leaves Carlo Ancelotti's side before the end of the January transfer window, although there is firm interest from Paderborn, according to a well-respected journalist.

Meanwhile, a number of Everton fans have been reacting to the latest speculation surrounding this South American midfielder.
