Everton’s new boss will be Porto coach Vitor Pereira, according to reports in a Portuguese sports paper.
It has been suggested that contracts were established between his agent, Christophe Henrotay, and the Blues and it is also claimed that Pereira signed a pre-contract agreement with Everton two months ago.
The coach has come to the end of his contract with Porto and having won the league title this season, it is now claimed he will come to Everton to replace Moyes, who has left the club after 11 years to join Manchester United.
Pereira has been linked with the post before and the report in A Bola, a Portuguese sports newspaper, suggests a deal is in place for Everton to appoint the 44-year-old this summer.
The article also claims that both parties can keep their options open, in case either side decides to pull out of the deal.
Everton have also been strongly linked with a move for Wigan boss Roberto Martinez, with the Spaniard now being linked with the vacant manager’s position at Stoke City.
