Last week, Italian reports suggested Liverpool had been offered the chance to sign Marko Pjaca, but the Reds move for Xherdan Shaqiri has opened the door for Everton.

According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport (via TalkSPORT), Juventus have told Liverpool they can sign Pjaca this summer for £22m.

Jürgen Klopp was seeking another winger to offer support and rotation options for the likes of Sadio Mane and and Mohamed Salah, but has now opted for Shaqiri.

This opens the door for Everton to swoop in and steal Pjaca, who could be the perfect man to fill the gaping hole on the Toffees’ left wing.

The Blues have been heavily linked with a move for Wilfried Zaha, but the Palace talisman’s price tag is astronomical, and Pjaca could be a much better deal for just £22m.

The 6 ft 1 winger was extremely highly rated when he arrived in Turin, but has struggled to nail down a place in the side and the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo will only push him further down the pecking order.

At just 23, Pjaca’s mixture of pace, strength, skill and versatility could make him quite the coup for Everton at £22m, and a whopping 72 per cent of fans are backing a move.
