Aaron Ramsey looks all set to leave Arsenal for free at the end of this season, and 78 per cent of Everton fans want to make a move for the Welsh international.
According to BBC, Ramsey and Arsenal have failed to come to an agreement on a new contract, with his current deal set to expire next summer.
The 27 year-old, who is the Gunners’ longest-serving player and has scored the winner in two FA Cup finals, will be out of contract next summer.
This means that teams could potentially wrap up a bargain deal in January, or wait until the summer to get the midfielder for free.
Of course the latter option will likely mean a bidding war over wages, but a huge percentage of Everton fans are hoping to make a move.
The Toffees got back on track this weekend with a comfortable 3-0 win over Fulham, and Gylfi Sigurdsson was the star of the show.
Ramsey’s ability to create and score goals from midfield would take some pressure off the Icelandic international, and he would certainly be an upgrade on Tom Davies.
