In the early stages of the season, football fans keep a close eye on their summer signings.

Everton were unlucky last season as most of Ronald Koeman's buys failed to deliver.

Current manager Marco Silva has been busy himself in this window having recruited new faces for the defence, midfield and attack.

One of those signings was Kurt Zouma from Chelsea, but his long-term future at Goodison Park is uncertain given that he has signed for the Toffees on a loan deal only.

The centre-back was a shining light for the West London outfit when he signed for the club in 2014.

However, after suffering anterior cruciate ligament damage two years later, Zouma has failed to win back a regular spot in the first team.

Last season, the defender spent the campaign on loan at Stoke City and now he will try to rack up some games at Everton.

The Merseyside outfit have a number of defenders to choose from, including Michael Keane, Phil Jagielka, Mason Holgate and summer signing Yerry Mina.

We asked you, though, if Everton should sign Zouma permanently, and the overwhelming majority are keen on the idea.
