Everton could be set for another major overhaul of their squad this summer following a disappointing campaign that promised so much, but has delivered so little.

The Toffees spent big on the likes of Gylfi Sigurdsson and Davy Klaassen last summer to try and ensure that they could compete with the top six clubs in the Premier League, but it hasn't happened and in many ways they are going back to the drawing board this summer.

Owner Farhad Moshiri has certainly shown that he isn't afraid to invest in the playing squad however, and perhaps the Merseyside outfit will target a higher calibre of player this summer to ensure they get the results and progress that they want.

One player that could be on their radar is AS Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, who was one of his club's standout players in their 5-2 defeat against Liverpool in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie at Anfield on Tuesday night.

We asked Everton fans to vote on our poll as to whether their side should target an ambitious move for the 29-year-old, who turns 30 years of age next week, at the end of the season, and 79% believe they should.

The Belgium international would certainly bring some quality and experience to the middle of the park for the Toffees, and his addition would be a serious statement of intent.
