Everton fans have been debating a move for Emil Forsberg, and the overwhelming majority of fans would love to swoop for the Swede.
Several teams have expressed an interest in Red Bull Leipzig’s Forsberg, and Calciomercato claimed recently that Everton are considering a swoop for the 26 year-old.
The Swedish international struggled with injuries last season, but at his best he is one of Europe’s elite playmakers, grabbing an incredible 19 Bundesliga assists in the 2016-17 season, just two less than Kevin De Bruyne recorded for Wolfsburg the season before his big money move to Manchester City.
The 26 year-old grabbed just five goals and four assists last season as he struggled with injuries, but racked up eight goals to go with his 19 assists in 30 Bundesliga appearances the season before.
Forsberg is an excellent crosser, is fantastic at carrying the ball forward on counter attacks, and always knows how to find that killer pass to cut through a deep defence.
He has also spent the last two seasons playing in Ralph Hasenhüttl’s high-tempo pressing system, so should fit right in with Marco Silva’s fast paced 4-3-3.
Fans have been voting on a big money move for the £22.5m-rated playmaker, and a whopping 81 per cent said they should make it happen.
