Prior to today’s FA Cup clash between Arsenal and Everton, ex-Toffees striker and current coach Duncan Ferguson was spotted by ITV showing off his silky skills in the pre-match warm-up. One Everton fan caught this cheeky snap-shot on Twitter.

As the pictures aired, it triggered a wave of reminiscence in the studio, as pundit Roy Keane revealed his approach to dealing with the Goodison hard man – who picked up eight red cards throughout his Merseyside career – during their playing days together, which Twitter found very amusing:
Adrian Chiles: “Roy, what did you think of him (Duncan Ferguson) as a player?'” Roy Keane “I tried to stay away from him”

Some Ferguson appreciation then ensued:
How can you not love Duncan Ferguson? Two man tried to rob his house, one managed to flee…the other spent three days in hospital..

Still makes me laugh seeing Duncan Ferguson coaching players. “JUST KICK AND HEAD EVERYTHING DEAD HARD.”
