Sandro Ramirez’s season is going from bad to worse, as reports in Spain claim the Everton loanee is not fit enough to play for Sevilla.

It’s been well documented that Everton’s summer spending spree was a bit of a disaster. After being tipped to make the top six, only Gylfi Sigurdsson and Jordan Pickford have even come close to matching expectations.

The worst of the lot has been Sandro Ramirez.

The ex-Malaga striker had a fantastic season in Spain last year, grabbing 14 goals in a struggling Malaga side. He was brought in to do the same at Goodison, but left on loan to Sevilla in January having not scored a single league goal.

Now things have gotten even worse for the striker, as Marca are claiming Sevilla boss Vincenzo Montella was disappointed by his fitness on arrival.

“The coach thinks that the signings (Sandro and Swansea’s Roque Mesa).... have arrived with a physical deficit difficult to mitigate in the months where the competition does not forgive.”

Sandro’s dream move to the Premier League has turned into a complete nightmare, and the loan back to Spain doesn’t seem to have made things better, having played just 176 minutes since the move.
