Things are getting tough for Everton at the moment.
Currently the Toffees are locked at 1-1 with Arsenal at Goodison Park but the first half was another that suggested they are still low on confidence amid a spate of poor results.
Certainly, bar the last ten minutes of the first 45, they were pretty poor and that once again told as the Gunners took the lead at the famous old stadium.
The goal came in pretty soft fashion as Alexis Sanchez’s poor free-kick squeaked home through a deflection from Ashley Williams, and it appeared as though another loss could be on the cards for the Blues.
As it transpired, the Toffees rallied to equalise through a fine header from Seamus Coleman – but that initial weakness at home is refusing to go away and must be addressed soon.
Indeed, if you take into account this stat below via @Squawka, you see just how poor Everton have been in front of their own fans recently…
