Just three wins from their last 11 Premier League games, along with an embarrassing defeat to Millwall in the FA Cup, and Marco Silva's Everton are seeing their season collapse before their eyes.

On a more personal note for the former Hull and Watford boss, his job is under immense pressure as the Goodison Park faithful grow tired of seeing underperforming players keep their place in the team and a noticeably poor record of defending set pieces.

Silva started managerial life on Merseyside fairly well, but has seen results tail off massively - the Toffees' plight is strikingly similar to the way in which the Hornets started under the Portuguese boss, before a woeful run which saw Silva sacked.

The former Olympiakos manager needs to overturn his team's fortunes quickly, or owner Farhad Moshiri will be searching for a replacement. With that in mind, Football FanCast take a look at some potential candidates for the job, should Silva be handed his P45...

Marcelo Bielsa

Marcelo Bielsa looks out onto pitch

The Leeds boss has already been tipped to replace Silva in the Goodison Park hotseat, although it would be an extremely difficult task to lure the Argentine to Merseyside given how well he is doing at Elland Road.

Bielsa currently has his side pushing for the Championship title, with automatic promotion expected of his Leeds team. Unless there are unknown clauses in his contract, it would take a huge amount of money to prise him away from his current project.

Laurent Blanc

The former Paris Saint-Germain boss and Manchester United defender has recently linked up with Base Soccer, a leading footballing agency, in a bid to find a managerial job in the Premier League.

Given the Frenchman's pedigree in the game, Everton would surely be amongst the interested parties in offering the World Cup winner a maiden job in England, especially if Silva's incompetence continues.

When former Toffees boss Sam Allardyce left his post at Crystal Palace, he recommended Sheffield United's Chris Wilder to the Eagles as his replacement in what was a fairly left-field shout, but you can't say the Blades boss doesn't deserve a shot.

Wilder has led his side to third in the Championship table, just two seasons on from winning promotion to the second tier as League One champions. The 51-year-old is working minor miracles over at Bramall Lane, and Everton could certainly do worse than take him away from the promotion hopefuls.
