According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, Besiktas are interested in signing Everton forward Ademola Lookman on a loan deal.

The England Under-21 international featured sporadically under Marco Silva last term and made just three Premier League starts for the Toffees.

At 21 years of age, Lookman has never really featured consistently in the Everton first team since arriving from Charlton in a deal worth £11m.

Watch the video below to see the most insane overhead kick you will see this week...

He shone in the second half of the 2017/18 campaign whilst on loan with Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, scoring five goals and recording three assists in just seven starts for the Germans.

It seems as if everytime he makes it onto the pitch for the Merseysiders, the youngster can positively influence the game - it is fairly baffling as to why he hasn't featured more for the Toffees in his short career at Goodison Park.

So, should Everton do business with Besiktas over a loan move? Football FanCast's writers have their say...

Matt Dawson

"Everton would be foolish to force Ademola Lookman out the door. The youngster is a fabulous talent who quite frankly hasn't been treated the best since he arrived in Merseyside. This is an individual that the club should be building their future around, not selling. They'd be far better off getting rid of someone like Theo Walcott."

Harry Sherlock

"It hasn’t worked out for Lookman. He’s clearly a very talented footballer and he’s young enough to still be able to make an impact, but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen at Everton. Two assists across an entire league season is a remarkably poor return and he needs a move to freshen up his outlook. The Toffees could be making a mistake - he could be a revelation wherever he goes - but, looking at his stats, it doesn’t appear very likely."

Luke Glanville

"Regardless of what it is, Everton need to make a decision on Ademola Lookman this summer and stop messing the 21-year-old around. Another loan for the English youth international would be counter-productive, only upsetting and frustrating the player and damaging his relationship with the club. For me, it's time that the Toffees gave Lookman a proper chance in the first team, a sustained run of starts at some point early next season and stick with the left winger until he comes good."
