Andriy Yarmolenko has been linked with a move to Everton over the last few years, but a transfer has never come to pass.
The Ukrainian forward, who has scored 178 career goals, was first touted as a target for the Merseyside outfit two years ago while playing for Dynamo Kiev.
However, the forward ended up moving to Borussia Dortmund in 2017, where he spent just one season.
Yarmolenko has finally sealed a switch to the Premier League, but he has not ended up at Goodison Park.
Instead, the 28-year-old has joined Manuel Pellegrini’s men at West Ham United.
Everton, who now have Marco Silva at the helm, will be playing against Yarmolenko next season rather than alongside him.

The Toffees experienced attacking woes last season, but the arrivals of Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott have helped matters.
On Reddit, Everton fans posted their thoughts of Yarmolenko’s switch to the Hammers.
Some chose to mock their Premier League rivals, while others felt that the Merseyside outfit have missed out.
