West Ham United star Morgan Amalfitano and Enner Valencia couldn’t hold in their happiness when they led 1-0 against Manchester City as they ran straight into the stands in order to celebrate with their fans, but they somehow ran into the wrong crowd.
The Hammer’s pair, Amalfitano the scorer and Valencia the creator both leaped into the City fans by accident as they began to celebrate their team’s first goal before coming out eventual 2-1 winners over the current Premier League champions.
Victory over Manuel Pellegrini’s men put Sam Allardyce’s side in fourth place, a point behind City and seven points away from league leaders Chelsea.
No matter how vital the victory is, the Hammers duo should try to remember that when they celebrate, they should jump into the correct group of supporters.
Luckily, no one was hurt…except maybe all the fans of the Sky Blues after such a devastating loss.
Amalfitano lucky not to get 2nd yellow for celebration in crowd. He joined Valencia whose momentum took him in pic.twitter.com/ozjydFHUgQ
