After bringing in Nick Powell and Shinji Kagawa earlier this month what's next on Sir Alex Ferguson's summer to-do-list? Both Powell and Kagawa are exceptionally talented and will certainly provide a breath of fresh air to clear the gloom at Old Trafford that has continued to fester ever since the Premier League trophy was snatched from their grasp from rivals City. Obviously clawing the title back will be Ferguson's primary objective next season but ensuring this Red Devil's team, which could potentially be the last he puts together, will have the quality to maintain his legacy long after he's retired is just as important. It's a process Ferguson has been through many times during 25-years at the helm building teams and breaking them when they hit the peak of their powers. The building blocks were certainly put in place last year with the signings of Phil Jones, David De Gea and Ashley Young and those will be fortified by the arrivals of Powell and Kagawa.

Quote of the Week

"I think we've all learned a lot. There have been a lot of games where you get a feeling afterwards that you never want to have again. Hopefully we can get hold of that feeling and make sure it doesn't happen again.

"Just look at all the young players in the squad: they've played a lot of games, had a lot of ups and downs and most of them are already getting selected for their national teams. That's all going to help them. The next two or three years will be a big test for them and I'm sure we'll all pull through it." Wayne Rooney says Manchester United have learnt a lot of lessons from last season
