Welcome back Liverpool!
Not many Liverpool fans expected Jurgen Klopp’s side to travel to league leaders Manchester City and come away with a win, but not only did they do that, the Reds thrashed the Citizens 4-1 in a comprehensive victory.
It seems that the appointment of the German to replace Brendan Rodgers has truly galvanized the squad, shown by the team’s willingness to press their opponents high up the pitch which inevitably caused them to make mistakes.
They look like a completely different side compared to Rodgers’, despite Klopp having the same players and a majority of them suffering injuries since his arrival.
As Liverpool head into a rather easier set of games following the City triumph, Klopp could potentially bring players on the fringe of the first-team to become regulars, with injured stars and youngsters set to compete for a place in the line up.
Without further ado, here are FIVE FRINGE LIVERPOOL PLAYERS that could break into the team under Klopp!
