It’s been a rollercoaster of a season for Liverpool this term, as now former manager Brendan Rodgers was sacked by the club just three months into the campaign and then replaced by heavily-coveted gaffer Jurgen Klopp.
And it started out well for the German at Anfield, going on a good unbeaten run before an epic 4-1 demolition of then title favourites Manchester City at the Etihad stadium and a 6-1 victory against Southampton in the Capital One Cup.
Suddenly there was hype that Klopp could take Liverpool all the way to the title, but it all came crashing down the past few games with losses against Newcastle United and most recently a 3-0 thrashing by Watford.
To add to this, the Reds have suffered a number of injuries to key players such as Daniel Sturridge, but of more concern are the long layoffs to centre-backs Dejan Lovren and Martin Srktel.
