Five January Signings to Reinvigorate Man United’s Attack

If you asked Manchester United fans before the season began how they’ll feel being only two points off the league leaders after 12 games played, most Red Devils supporters would definitely be quite satisfied with the position.

Last term, United’s main objective was to finish in the top four and they were hoping for a title challenge this time around, so being only two points away from Manchester City at the Premier League summit seems like a rather good outcome right now.

However, a majority of fans (and former players) are anything but happy with Man United at the moment.

Why is that? Well Louis van Gaal’s ‘philosophy’ may be effective, but they are probably less fun to watch compared to watching paint dry. Long gone are Sir Alex Ferguson’s swashbuckling United of old, with possession key under the Dutchman.

But with the constant criticism, Van Gaal is bound to change his style sooner rather than later, and to do so, he may need to bring in some extra players that can reinvigorate his attack.
