Five Things we learned this weekend: Leicester jump ahead

Another weekend of football, bring us another set of talking points.

Firstly we must start with the biggest clash of the weekend which was Arsenal v Chelsea, and once again the Gunners failed to beat the Blues in a dramatic and controversial tie involving… you guessed it… Diego Costa.

But for once it wasn’t a confrontation or a dirty action, as the Spain international got in front of Per Mertesacker and was fouled by the defender… resulting in a red card.

And to rub further salt into Arsene Wenger’s wounds, Costa fired the only goal of the game a few minutes later to halt Arsenal’s charge for the title.

The result gives Leicester City a three point lead at the top, as the in-form Foxes easily dispatched Stoke City at the KingPower 3-0 thanks to an incredible display from not Riyad Mahrez or Jamie Vardy, but Daniel Drinkwater!

And we haven’t even reached the most thrilling encounter of the weekend which was Norwich City vs Liverpool that ended 5-4 to Jurgen Klopp’s men!

Well Ryan Bailey catches you up to the action in FIVE THINGS WE LEARNED this past weekend.
