Five things we learnt from Bournemouth 0-0 Tottenham
It was a fairly entertaining 0-0 draw to kick-off the Premier League action this weekend as Bournemouth and Tottenham clashed on the south coast at the Vitality Stadium.
In truth, there weren’t many clear-cut chances though there were a fair few half decent ones, and both sides will feel they could have done more to grab all three points.
The Cherries will feel, particularly in the first half, they could have won the game as Spurs seemed to still be feeling the effects of a Champions League trip to Bayer Leverkusen in the week.
They looked hungry from the off and could have taken the lead within five minutes but for a smart Hugo Lloris save to turn the ball onto the cross-bar.
As the game wore on, as you’d expect, Spurs grew back into it but they too could not breach their opposition’s defence, leaving both to reflect on shared, and fair, points.
It was an intriguing game to watch and here are FIVE things we learned from it…
