Five things we learnt from this weekend’s Premier League action

The Premier League weekend didn’t disappoint once again with some breath-taking goals, devastating displays, and the usual suspects ensuring yet another three points.

Manchester United struggled at Old Trafford once again, while Chelsea made it seven victories on the bounce to maintain top spot in the Premier League.

However, the weekend also witnessed one of the greatest Premier League games in the competition’s 25-year history, as Swansea managed to secure a 5-4 victory over relegation rivals Crystal Palace, to ensure Alan Pardew’s men suffered a sixth successive league defeat, via two injury time goals from Fernando Llorente.

In amongst all the struggles, Josh Sims became yet another Southampton graduate to make a Premier League debut in the Saints 1-0 victory over Everton.
