Micah Richards is ready to make a Premier League comeback when his loan spell at Fiorentina comes to an end later this year, with Liverpool and West Ham possible destinations, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
The former England international is currently plying his trade in Italy after agreeing a season-long loan from Manchester City, and looks likely to be a free agent in under six months’ time.
Richards has already rejected a five-year offer from City to stay at the Etihad Stadium, with securing regular football after an injury plagued few years his top priority.
And despite the potential to stay in Serie A or join Dortmund, the 26-year-old wants to return to England.
Richards is confident that his fitness worries are now firmly in the past, and interest from Liverpool and West Ham, as well as Everton, is thought to be genuine.
The powerful defender has struggled with Fiorentina, with the adaptation to different formations and playing styles having limited his time on the pitch and effectiveness.
