Welcome to our Crowd-Sourced Fantasy Premier Leaguel Team, where you help us choose which players to bring in ahead of the game week.

Last week, the horrific injury to Luke Shaw forced us to make a switch, and you as the audience chose to draft in Matteo Darmian as a like-for-like replacement. He didn’t perform as we all would have liked (one point), but the Italian is expected to line-up at right-back despite his half-time substitution and will provide us with Manchester United cover.

Now our big issue ahead of game week 7 is the injury to Christian Benteke, and with Liverpool’s games set to become trickier following Aston Villa’s visit this weekend, we must look to replace the towering Belgium international.

But among the array of choices in the Fantasy Premier League, who should we bring in that could give us points for the foreseeable future?

Here are FIVE Options to replace Liverpool’s Benteke in our Crowd-Source FPL team! You can vote for the one you want below!

Danny Ings

Danny Ings (centre)

Once again we start with a rather like-for-like change, with Danny Ings (7.1) set to be a decent option to replace Benteke up front.

The English striker was brought on at half-time last time out and made an instant impact, scoring and collecting all three bonus points despite a 1-1 draw. Also, the former Burnley man grabbed the only goal for Liverpool in their 1-1 draw against Carlisle United in the League Cup.

On this sort of form, Brendan Rodgers is expected to continue with Ings up front. And last time Rodgers started with both Benteke and Sturridge, so he may deploy the same formation once again with two strikers against Villa.

Callum Wilson

Callum Wilson (centre)

Is Callum Wilson (6.0) this season’s Charlie Austin? Well many seem to think so with the Bournemouth striker having already scored 5 goals in his first six top flight games, and at just 6.0 he is an affordable option that could give us more wiggling room for transfers next week.

However, after the Cherries’ clash against Stoke (Away) and Watford (Home), Wilson and co. face Manchester City (Away), Tottenham (Home), and then Southampton (Away)... so Wilson would be a short-term gamble given other options available.

He is on great form though, and if he scores again his value will definitely rise.

Anthony Martial

Anthony Martial (centre)

The current trending bandwagon, Anthony Martial (8.3) has been drafted in by no less than 465,282 managers at the time of writing after the youngster scored four goals in three appearances for the Red Devils.

And as we mentioned in our Bandwagons Article, Martial is a good option for this weekend, but it is hard to see him plunder the goals against Arsenal (Away), Everton (Away), and Manchester City (Home) in the next three games.

Bojan Krkic

Bojan (centre)

Bojan Krkic (5.3) started the season injured, but has recovered sooner than expected and was given his first start following an injury to Mame Biram Diouf last weekend.

And he responded in emphatic fashion, not only scoring but picking up all three bonus points in their 2-2 draw against Leicester City.

He will once again be in contention with Diouf still out injured, and the Potters have an enticing run of fixtures which pits them against Bournemouth (Home), Aston Villa (Away), Swansea (Away), Watford (Home), and Newcaslte (Away) in their next five games.

Diafra Sakho

Diafra Sakho (centre)

Last but not least, we have West Ham United star Diafra Sakho (6.5). While Dimitri Payet (7.8) has been taking the plaudits recently, Sakho scored his second goal of the season in their 2-1 win over Manchester City and has quietly gone along with his business.

Fixtures are also in favour of the Hammers, with Norwich (Home), Sunderland (Away), and Crystal Palace (Away) in their next three. After that they face Chelsea at Upton Park, but no one will bet against the Hammers to beat the champions after their recent wins over the Premier League’s big clubs.

And in those games, we expect Sakho to be in and amongst the points... especially with Payet and Victor Moses capable of supplying the ammunition.
