Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are set to miss out on Lyon star Alexandre Lacazette following remarks made by club president Jean-Michel Aulas.
The 24-year-old emerged as a top transfer target for a host of Premier League clubs last summer, with the aforementioned duo set to up their interest in his services.
However, Aulas confirmed that his intentions are to keep hold of the France international following another high-scoring campaign with the Ligue 1 outfit.
“I would like to keep Alexandre Lacazette,” he is quoted by the Mirror.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is still eager to add another forward into his squad and he looks to ease pressure off star man Harry Kane up top.
Meanwhile, Hammers manager Slaven Bilic has also revealed his intentions to reinforce his attack in the summer, as he looks to challenge for a top four spot next season.
Lacazette has already featured 42 times in all competitions for his side this term, so far managing to score 20 goals while providing another four assists in the process.
