Fulham loanee hopes for permanent switch

Fulham full-back Stanislav Manolev

PSV defender Stanislav Manolev is hoping to make his loan spell at Fulham a permanent one this summer, as reported by Sky Sports.

Manolev has struggled to break into the Fulham side in recent months due to the form of fellow right back Sascha Riether, but the Bulgarian is hoping he has done enough to force Martin Jol into taking PSV up on their offer of a permanent move.

The versatile 27 year old has claimed he is delighted to be playing in the best competition in the world in one of the cities in the world.

Manolev only joined Fulham in January but has played at right back, left back and right midfield in his short time in West London, showing that he does have something to offer Jol in the long term.

“I’m really enjoying it – this is the best competition in the world,” Manolev told the Fulham Chronicle.

“I like London too, so of course I would like to stay, but it depends on the clubs.

“I still have one more year left at PSV, so the clubs have to talk.”
