Fulham boss Martin Jol has compared his side to a blonde girl who looks good from a distance, as reported by talkSPORT.
Jol was commenting after Fulham twice surrendered a lead to Premier League new boys Reading as they played out a 3-3 draw at the Madejski Stadium.
Jol feels his side are looking good from a distance but they need to ‘put the make up on’ in order to finish teams off.
“We were the better footballing team but there was no purpose to our game,
“We want to dominate possession but you have to play the ball forward.
“It’s like a blonde girl – we looked good from far, but far from good. So in the second half we put the make up on and started again and after the substitutions there was more purpose.
“If you score three goals away at Reading you should win the game.”
