As tends to be the case for clubs who enter the Premier League via the Championship play-offs, Fulham have ramped up their summer spending in the closing days of the transfer window.

The impressive capture of Jean Michael Seri has been followed up in recent days by Slavisa Jokanovic securing Andre Schurrle's return to west London and making countryman Aleksandr Mitrovic a permanent recruit, after a hugely successful loan spell in the second half of last season.

Another loanee who came in mid-season was Southampton left-back Matt Targett, who boosted Jokanovic's defensive options following the January departure of Cyrus Christie and became a fixture in the team as Fulham rampaged towards promotion.

Jokanovic is reportedly keen on 'doing a Mitrovic' with Targett and signing him permanently after a good loan spell but Bristol City left-back Joe Bryan is also apparently on the market at an affordable £6m - and Fulham were linked back in June.

So, we asked the Whites faithful which of the left-backs they would rather see at the Cottage upon their return to the top flight and, perhaps unsurprisingly, promotion hero Targett came out on top...
