Hammers edging closer to Chelsea loan swoop

Chelsea winger Victor Moses is set to join West Ham on loan for the season, reports the Express.

The Nigerian winger has spent time at Liverpool and Stoke City since arriving at Stamford Bridge from Wigan in 2012.

The 24-year old has failed to break the first team since his move from the DW Stadium, making just 23 league appearances for the Blues.

New West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is set to add the former Crystal Palace trainee to his ranks, as he makes his last minute changes ahead of Tuesday’s transfer window deadline.

Reports suggest the move is with a view to an eventual £6m permanent deal next year, with Chelsea expected to take a loss on the apparent £9m fee they shelled out to the Latics three years ago.

The Hammers are also set to sign Hull City striker Nikica Jelavic, with Bilic having coached the 30-year old Croatian at international level.
