Sergio Aguero apparently attempted to emulate his compatriot Diego Maradona with this Hand of God-esque goal. The Manchester City striker was facing into an open goal when he first headed the ball goal-bound ball before giving it a little bit of helping hand to steer it over the line:
However, unlike his father-in-law, Sergio Aguero did not get away with his attempt to con the referee. I wonder what Gary Lineker would have to say about all this? Man City lead Stoke by two goals to one thanks a legal attempt from Aguero earlier in the game and James Milner scoring his first consecutive league goals since 2010. Peter Crouch had drawn his side level but will need to score again if Mark Hughes’ side are to get anything from this game.

Another “hand of God” (almost) goal from Aguero. He is related to Maradona after all! #stokevcity

Aguero was trying the Hand Of God. Well not every Argentine can do that
