Liverpool, Liverpool, Liverpool! What can we say about Liverpool?
Things went from bad to worse for Brendan Rodgers’ side in midweek as they conceded a late equaliser to relative unknowns FC Ludogorets in the Champions League.
One of Liverpool’s biggest problems this season has been the fact that the money acquired from the sale of Luis Suarez to Barcelona has been spent on absolute dross!
Lazar Markovic, Dejan Lovren and Mario Balotelli have been the ones singled out for particular criticism this season, with Balotelli, in particular, ridiculed for his inability to score in the Premier League and his all round (lack of) work ethic.
Lovren, a summer signing from Southampton, was meant to steady the Reds back four, a back four that conceded over 50 goals in the league last season despite finishing second, however, the centre back has been error prone and hasn’t had the desired effect on the Liverpool defence.
Lazar Markovic is currently sitting in the category of ‘Who?!’
All I hope is that neither of the trio are fans of Home Alone…
