Hull can’t afford these sort of mistakes against Arsenal today..

Footballers tend to earn pretty huge amounts of money anyway, but Jimmy Bullard has benefited even more financially than he was meant to. A misprint, a typo or whatever the Tigers want to call it, helped to earn their former midfielder an extra few thousand pounds a week, lucky bloke!

As the Mail reported, Bullard signed his contract and quickly scribbled his signature down before Hull could realise that they were paying out an extra bit of dosh to the former Fulham man.

Hull face Arsenal in the FA Cup this lunchtime and the Tigers will hope they aren’t going to make any similar blunders.

Bullard has been quoted as saying, ‘I’m bleeding cash’, which doesn’t exactly improve the image of overpaid footballers.

The midfielder only made 18 league appearances for Hull, claiming a lovely little appearance fee of around £5,000 as well.

However, whilst at Wigan, Bullard popped did provide this beauty against the Gunners… if only Hull still had him on the pitch!

Conveniently, Hull were unavailable for comment when the Mail made contact..
