Liverpool have a big test this weekend as they travel to the Emirates Stadium to face an in-form Arsenal side unbeaten in their last 12 outings. The Reds themselves are yet to taste defeat in the Premier League this season and if they are at their best then they ought to be able to triumph over the Gunners.

Jurgen Klopp will still be vary wary of the threat that Arsenal pose, though, and will know that his defence shall be tested in this match. The Liverpool backline have been largely impeccable so far this season, but there are still one or two big decisions for the German manager to make.

Left-back Andrew Robertson and centre-back Virgil van Dijk are automatic picks.

Joe Gomez is also almost certain to be in the starting XI, but his position is less clear at this stage. Here, Klopp must decide between deploying Gomez alongside the Dutchman in the middle, or putting him at right-back and fielding a centre-back pairing of van Dijk and Dejan Lovren.

Pairing Gomez alongside van Dijk in a central berth allows for the inclusion of Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back. Whilst this set up would forego the experience of Lovren, the pace and energy of both Gomez and Alexander-Arnold would provide the Reds with greater security at the back.

What do you think, Liverpool fans - who should be selected alongside Gomez to start against Arsenal?
