HYS: Should Alex Iwobi start vs Tottenham?

Every Premier League club has that one player the manager seems to appreciate a lot more than the fans, and Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi would appear to fall into that category.

Despite only ever seeming to have a marginal impact on results, and often being largely anonymous in the final third, the Nigerian attacker has made 13 starts in the Premier League this season and started all of Arsenal’s last eight games across all competitions.

Perhaps that’s because the Gunners were a little short of options, amid Mesut Ozil’s short stint on the sidelines and Alexis Sanchez’s rather arduous transfer saga.

But the north London club have the German international back fit again, while their attacking ranks were bolstered during the January transfer window with swoops or Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

So, Arsenal fans, is there still room for Iwobi in Arsenal’s starting XI and should the young winger, who Transfermarkt value at £9million, start against Tottenham in the North London Derby on Saturday?
