HYS: Which winger should Pep Guardiola drop for the Chelsea clash?

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has an abundance of riches available to him this season, and here at Football FanCast we want to know which of his three multi-million pound wingers should miss out against Chelsea on Saturday.

The league leaders picked up another three points on Tuesday as they beat a spirited Watford side 2-1 at Vicarage Road. It was Raheem Sterling who was left on the bench by Guardiola, despite the 23-year-old Englishman having scored eight Premier League goals and provided six assists.

However, the Catalan manager’s decision paid dividends as Leroy Sane and Riyad Mahrez scored either side of half-time to give the Citizens a 2-0 lead.

Abdoulaye Doucoure’s late goal, where he bundled the ball over the line at the third time of asking, made it a nervous end for the champions, but they were able to hang on.

Here at Football FanCast we believe that City are still better with last season’s combination of Sane and Sterling on the wings, meaning Mahrez should miss out against Chelsea.

Although he looks more comfortable with each game he plays, the 27-year-old is still adapting to Guardiola’s system.

So, City fans, who would you leave out on Saturday? Have your say by voting in the poll below.
