[ad_pod ]Liverpool needed another famous European night under the Anfield lights to scrape through to the last 16 of the Champions League on Tuesday evening, as they beat Carlo Ancelotti's Napoli 1-0 thanks to a brilliant goal from Mohamed Salah. However, it wasn't all good news for the Reds as both Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joel Matip suffered injuries towards the end of the game, according to injury expert Ben Dinnery on Twitter.

This has left Jurgen Klopp with a huge selection dilemma at right-back ahead of the clash with bitter rivals Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday, as Joe Gomez will also be out for around six weeks having fractured his leg in the recent 3-1 win at Burnley.

Luckily for the German boss, he does have two midfielders who could fill in. Summer signing Fabinho spent much of his time at Monaco playing as a right-back, and he has experience at the top level from playing there in the Champions League. However, he may be best utilised in the holding midfield role against the physically strong United side.

James Milner was the one who played in that role against Bournemouth last weekend, adapting from left-back where he has featured heavily under Klopp, and it would surely be wise to ask the versatile 32-year-old to fill-in once again there, espeically if he is up against Marcus Rashford or Anthony Martial.

So, Liverpool fans, if Alexander-Arnold's injury does keep him out, who would you like to see filling in at right-back? Have your say by voting in the poll below.
