Manchester City may be amid a 15-game winning run, but to suggest they're the perfect side would be glaringly naive. While most teams this season have struggled to get to the point where they can actually test their defence, their backline last time out against Swansea in the Premier League included Fabian Delph at left-back and Eliaquim Mangala at centre-half.

With Tottenham Hotspur visiting the Etihad Stadium this weekend, the likelihood of the latter starting again in the absence of Vincent Kompany and John Stones will concern some City fans - especially considering the undoubted firepower Harry Kane offers the visitors.

But Mangala is by no means the only option at Pep Guardiola's disposal, albeit the most orthodox one. We've seen 41-cap Brazil midfielder Fernandinho line up in central defence already this season and summer signing Danilo, who Transfermarkt value at £16.2million, can play there in theory as well.

So, City fans, would you keep the faith in Mangala lining up alongside Nicolas Otamendi, or is it time to put a square peg in a round hole? Let us know by voting below...
