HYS: Who should start on the right wing versus Chelsea?

Right wing has proved something of a problem position for Jose Mourinho and remains perhaps the only part of Manchester United’s attacking jigsaw that he’s yet to find the perfect piece for, with Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku making the left wing and centre-forward berths their own this term.

Indeed, Juan Mata started last time out against Watford but has rarely been trusted by Mourinho in the Red Devils’ most important games. England international Jesse Lingard, meanwhile, impressed centrally earlier in the campaign but has struggled for the same impact out wide.

The other options are young forwards Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial, but both are more effective on the opposite flank where they can naturally come inside onto their stronger foot and take efforts at goal.

So, United fans, with the club’s biggest fixture of the season on the horizon – Saturday’s FA Cup final – who would you start on the right wing against Wembley opponents Chelsea? Let us know how you’d solve Mourinho’s problem position by voting below…
