I don’t want Newcastle, Spurs or West Ham move, says strike star

Demba Ba has revealed that he has no interest in a move back to the Premier League, despite links with Newcastle, West Ham and Tottenham.

The Senegalese hit-man left Chelsea over the summer to join Besiktas after impressing in English football with the Hammers and the Magpies.

Since heading to Istanbul, the 29-year-old has netted ten goals in 14 outings, earning much praise from his new fans.

Even though he’s a lucrative salary in Turkey, Spurs, West Ham and Newcastle are already considering moves to bring him back to the Premier League, but Ba himself says that he’s not looking to leave Besiktas:

“I want to thank those who made offers but I am not moving to England or another country, my main focus is Besiktas.” He is quoted by talkSPORT.

“Players get offers and enquiries from time to time but all I am focused on is winning the league, cup and making the Europa League final. That is all I am thinking about.

“I have been blown away by the support of the fans, I am really happy here and feel I made the right decision coming to Istanbul.”

Ba played for Chelsea for over a year, but failed to make a major impact for the Blues after an impressive spell at West Ham – whom he has joined following a brief stint with West Ham.
