Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Olivier Giroud could return from his injury in time for the Premier League meeting with rivals Manchester united in two weeks’ time.
The French striker broke his ankle back in August and was not expected to return to action until the New Year. But Giroud is expected to return to training as soon as next week and could be in contention to face United after the international break.
And Wenger has also admitted Jack Wilshere is available for the Gunners’ trip to Swansea on Sunday after recovering from illness, but they are still waiting on a definite return date for defender Laurent Koscielny.
Wenger told Metro: “Koscielny has a little chance to be back after the international break.”
“Debuchy, Ospina and Ozil are progressing very well, but of course they are not available before or straight after the international break.”
