There has never been so much on the line in North London than this season. While Arsenal are a club caught in a malaise, with the first team a shadow of its former self in terms of quality in comparison to ten years ago, Tottenham Hotspur have risen out of mid table obscurity, and with signings like Gareth Bale and Jan Vertonghen, have become real contenders within the Premier League.
