Aaron Cresswell is having an absolute mare against Crystal Palace. The game was poised quite tightly beofre the 25-year-old defender inexplicably air-kicked Glenn Murray’s header past his keeper and into his own net.
Cresswell has been much lauded since his summer signing from Ipswich Town, leading many to question why it took so long for the defender to earn a move to the Premier League. The left-back has started all of West Ham United’s league games thus far, playing an important role in why the Hammers are enjoying such a good season.
Such has been Aaron Cresswell’s form, that many Hammers fans have suggested that the defender is better than the £30m rated Luke Shaw. And while one mistake doesn’t discredit this argument, one can imagine that West Ham fans will be slightly less vocal following the player’s mistake today.
Crystal Palace now lead 0-2 thanks to Scott Dann and West Ham will be worried having only won one of their last nine Premier League matches.
Aaron Cresswell: England's number four left back, at best.

How has Murray been awarded that goal? If Cresswell hadn't spooned it over his own shoulder it would barely even have registered as a shot!
