Jose Mourinho planning Premier League return

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho at Old TraffordReal Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that he wants his next job to be in the Premier League.

The former Chelsea boss is widely expected to leave the Galacticos at the end of the current campaign, with results, and his relationship with some first-team players, below the desired level.

He has long been linked with a return to English football, following successful spell with the Blues in which he claimed league and cup titles.

When asked if he would consider a sensational return at the end of the season, the Portuguese coach is quoted as saying by The Metro:

The ‘Special One’ then went on to claim that no official plans are in place, and that his decision will be made in the near future:

“We will evaluate everything at the end of the season.”

A return to Chelsea appears to be his most likely move, with Rafael Benitez currently in charge of the Stamford Bridge club on a temporary basis.

Manchester United and Manchester City have also been mooted as possibilities, with the Sky Blues’ managerial position far from secure and Sir Alex Ferguson nearing the end of his career.

Despite his admission, and love of English football, Mourinho could be tempted by big spending French side Paris Saint-Germain, who are believed to be keen on bringing in one of the most famous names in the sport.
