The Spanish international has long been regarded as one of the Catalan side’s star names, but he has struggled for game time this term under new coach Tata Martino.
A slight change in playing style at the club has seen the likes of Alexis Sanchez and new signing Neymar play more significant roles, with Lionel Messi – when fit – the focal point of their three-man attack.
Due to this, Pedro has found himself on the bench frequently, leading to rumours that he could leave the La Liga champions in the not too distant future.
The 26-year-old says that he is happy at Barca, but that he will consider all of the options available to him at the end of the current campaign.
“I am happy with Barcelona, but things have to be evaluated every season,” Pedro told The Express.
“My goal is to try and stay at this club where I feel very valued and loved.
“When you play less you do not feel less important, but it is true that you notice playing fewer minutes and it is different.”
