Leeds United fans on Twitter were buzzing on Monday night as the FA Cup third round draw set up a tasty clash between the Whites and Arsenal.

To make it all the better, fans have a lovely away trip to one of London’s best stadiums to look forward to.

These are two of the most historic and best-supported clubs in the country, so this match will have a lot of prestige attached to it.

United haven’t had much of a chance to play at the Emirates as they’ve not been in the Premier League since its construction, but they have travelled there for two cup matches this decade.

Understandably, a number of Leeds supporters were happy with the fact that their team are set to play in such a high-profile fixture.

Despite the fact that this draw sees a Championship team coming up against a Europa League side, a few supporters were feeling quite confident ahead of the match.

To be fair, Arsenal have been dreadful in recent weeks as they’ve not won since early October, but this confidence may be a little premature as the Gunners could have a new manager in charge by the time the Whites travel to London for this tie.

Certain sections of the fanbase were excited by the prospect of going to the game as they eagerly awaited to hear what allocation the away team would get for this game.

Leeds have one of the best away followings in the country, and it will certainly be a great atmosphere at the Emirates in January.

In other news, Marcelo Bielsa may have silenced one of his biggest criticisms with one move this weekend.
