Leeds stretched their winning run to six games against Huddersfield Town on Saturday but it could have been a different story if not for the intervention of Kiko Casilla.
It is not the first time the keeper has come to the Whites’ rescue, and it is little surprise that his great form has led him to keep 12 clean sheets in 22 games this campaign.
Several defenders have been stand-out, too, with Ben White picking up most of the plaudits from fans, but Casilla is fast-becoming a new hero amongst the fanbase.
Virtually impossible: Can you name the year all of these Leeds flops arrived at Elland Road?
The Spaniard has made a significant turnaround from last season, with his mistake against Derby costing his side a place in the playoff final, but his improvement has been noted and duly appreciated by supporters, with many applauding his save.
World class keeping

While Casilla did brilliantly to keep out Karlan Grant’s header, it is becoming a familiar theme of his season, and with the Spaniard between the posts Leeds can be confident of maintaining their mantle as the best defensive team in the country.
The ten goals they have conceded in 20 league games isn’t bettered by any other team in the top four divisions, and some believe that is because the goalkeeper and defenders breed confidence in each other.
Fans have taken the time to praise the 33-year-old, and rightly so, as with each passing game he is proving that Marcelo Bielsa was right to bring him in last January.
Brillant shot stopper and passer of the ball. Fits perfectly into Bielsaball.

Been absolutely outstanding this season does help having a solid defence in front breeds confidence in both MOT.

I wanted keeper sacked and out of the club after last season but this season he has been magnificent.👏

Fans have also been discussing another important moment in the clash against Leeds, with many ridiculing Elias Kachunga for his cowardice.
