Leeds United fans were not impressed by Jack Harrison’s efforts away to Nottingham Forest, judging by their grumblings on Twitter.

The 22-year-old, on loan from Manchester City, featured heavily in the first half at the City Ground, but was hauled off for the second half by Marcelo Bielsa in favour of 18-year-old Jack Clarke.

At the time of his substitution, the Whites found themselves with a foot still in the game at 1-0 down, and swiftly set upon overturning the deficit to end the 64th minute in the lead.

Unfortunately for Leeds, the tides turned once more, as Aitor Karanka was able to put the doubts over his future to one side and orchestrate a rapid seven-minute blitz to secure the points in a 4-2 rout.

The 5ft 9in Harrison’s wayward crossing particularly caught the attention of the Peacocks fanbase before his number was shown on the assistant referee’s board.

WhoScored statistics fail to support their accusations, however, with the football tracking site registering just three incomplete passes made by the former New York City FC star.

Data collected from the City Ground also shows Harrison contributing with one successful dribble and one successful tackle.
