What a difference a week can make in football.

All of a sudden, Leeds are once again three points clear of third place after putting in an incredible performance against Bristol City on Saturday.

Indeed, although the scoreline was only 1-0, United absolutely dominated the game, with Graham Smyth describing it as a battering.

One man who had a fantastic game was Luke Ayling.

Not only did the right-back score the winner, but he also won the WhoScored star man award and had more shots than anyone else on the pitch against Bristol.

This comes just a week after fans and Phil Hay were worried about his mindset after an interview the £2.2m-rated right back did with LUTV about the Nottingham Forest game.

His general play on Saturday put any of those worries to bed, but it wasn’t just the way he played that showed his head is in exactly the right place.

Just look at how he celebrated his goal on Saturday and make up your own mind as to whether or not this is a man struggling to cope with the pressure.

The right-back proudly showed the Leeds badge to the fans while passionately wheeling away to celebrate his strike.

If that wasn’t enough he once again got in front of a camera after the match, and he looked like a completely different man from a week previous.

Ayling's body language and tone of voice in the video above are a million miles away from what they were last week.

Over seven days ago the right-back was struggling to get his words out - he was looking sheepish and appeared to be a broken man, but the defender's now put to bed any worries that could have been raised about his mindset.

In other news, there’s one likely outcome of Kiko Casilla’s FA hearing.
