Leeds United fans on Twitter have been calling for Patrick Bamford to be dropped for their next game against Aston Villa after his poor performance against Brentford on Monday evening.

He was ineffective up front as Leeds drew a blank against the Bees. The former Middlesbrough striker squandered numerous chances inside the box and fans have now lost patience with the forward.

The former Middlesbrough man had been in fine form in recent weeks but the recent dip in Leeds’ form has seen fans turn on the striker.

The 25-year-old has netted nine goals in 21 games for Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season including three in his last four yet, fans now want him out of the side after his poor showing against Brentford.

Certain sections of the fanbase want to see Kemar Roofe return to the starting XI. Leeds’ top scorer has banged in 14 Championship goals this season but has found himself on the bench in recent weeks following his return from injury.
